Clinton attorney J. Michael Clement will be heading up our Real Estate Law section, and he will be available to handle general civil and criminal matters.
He brings 27 years of experience as a licensed attorney in private practice and also extensive experience in real estate law and litigation, as well as juvenile, domestic and probate matters.
Clement graduated the Memphis State University College of Law and received his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Tennessee.
Clement has served as a special General Sessions Court judge and a special Juvenile Court judge. Clement was also City Attorney for the City of Clinton for six years. This year, he will be a candidate for Anderson County Juvenile Court Judge in the 2014 election.
He has served as past president of the Anderson County Bar Association, past chairman of the Anderson County Chamber of Commerce, past president of the Anderson County Adult Literacy Council, and past president of Clinton Civitan.
