Tim Bobo
James Timothy Bobo, was born in Fayette, Alabama in 1969. He attended Carson-Newman College (now Carson-Newman University), where he received his B.S. in Economics in 1992. He graduated Cum Laude and he was the top graduate in the Economics department. He was also a member of the varsity football teams that won National Championships in 1988 and 1989. Mr. Bobo received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1995.
While in law school, he was selected to write for the Tennessee Law Review. After graduation from law school, Mr. Bobo began private practice in Knoxville, Tennessee. In 1997 he became a licensed sports agent by the National Football League. Prior to joining Ridenour & Ridenour, he was a partner at a regional law firm that specialized in all aspects of employment law. In 2002, he joined Ridenour and Ridenour in the Clinton, Tennessee office. Since 2006, he and John Agee have been the managing partners at Ridenour & Ridenour.
Mr. Bobo is an experienced trial lawyer in jury and non-jury cases of most types, with an emphasis on workers’ compensation, personal injury, employment law, automobile accidents, products liability, and nursing home neglect. He is a member of the Knoxville, Tennessee and American Bar Associations.
Mr. Bobo is admitted to practice before the following courts: Supreme Court of the United States of America, United States Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, United States District Court-Eastern District of Tennessee, Tennessee Supreme Court, Tennessee Court of Appeals, and all Tennessee trial courts.
Mr. Bobo frequently handles complex lawsuits. He has successfully obtained settlements and jury verdicts for his clients that exceed ten million dollars.
